Taken Lidocaine Injection And Juvederm Around Mouth. Swollen Face, No Wrinkles. Reason?

I had a lidocaine injection prior to having Juvederm around my mouth. I swelled up to the point I had no wrinkles so it was hard to see where he needed to place the Juvederm. What is the reason I swelled up so bad. He used three carps of 2% lido, two shots on top and one split between the lower near my corners of my mouth.

Hello,
Thank you for the query.
There is nothing to worry and when we give lidocaine we must see that after giving there must be swelling at that area so that we can give incision without much pain.If the swelling persists or if you have any other symptoms then you need to be worried and ask your doctor who treated you for help as it might be due to allergic reaction and tab.avil and hydrocortisone may be given for that by your doctor.Thank you.
