Tailbone Injury, Mid Spine Pain, Shortness Of Breath, Back Pain. Internal Injuries?

I fell down a flight of stairs while holding my daughter, could not break my fall so hit my tailbone and mid- spine on every step. Had the wind knocked out of me with shortness of breath and severe back pain afterward, back pain is improving but still a little short of breath. Do I need to worry about internal injuries?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Dear friend, welcome to HCM.
if you are breathless, you should get evaluated for fractured ribs, spine and also to rule out solid organ internal injuries.

take care and keep me posted on your progress.
Good luck !
