ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello
You are correct if there are recurrent bouts of infecton then you must get done a throat swab for culture and sensitivity to know the causative organism and the antibiotic it is sensitive to.
In recurrent tonsillar infection you must also see am ENT specialist to get nasalinfection ruled out.as the nasal discharge falls back in throat and infects the throat so the tonsils get enlarged.
