Swollen Labia Minora, Pain. History Of Abscess Wounds In Same Area. Cure For Symptoms?

I have a very painful swollen labia minora . Left side. No sex in weeks. Just appeared today. Similar to 3 years ago when it swelled to 10 times its normal size for 3weeks then kept hot rag on it and it burst like an abscess would. Can this be that same thing? Are abscesses common in that area? And should I see a doctor before it gets that big and immobilizes me?

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having infected Bartholin cyst gave same problem again.
Consult Gynaec and get examined.
If cyst is there, get it excised with sac and you will be alright.
Ok and take care.
