Swollen Eyes And Cheeks, Red, Burning In Eyelids. Had Same Problem Before. Taking Benadryl. Whom Should I Consult?

i woke up yesterday with swollen eyes @ cheeks. it almost looked like a bad sunburn. Today I a still red although not as bad and slightly swollen. At times my eyelids it and burn. i've been washing them with cool water and taking benadryl. This came out of nowhere. Several years ago I had same problem but with a rash on my neck also. a dermatologist told me it was hormonal (i'm 48). Any diagnosis? Who should I see for this - primary dr, dermatologist, eye doctor? thank you
