Swelling In Armpit Vein, Soreness Above Incision Line And Under Bicep After Breast Implant Exchange. Is This Infection?

Hello, I had a breast implant exchange three weeks ago and today I noticed a swelling/ bump/ dilatation of my armpit vein. I noticed that my incision scar is on the red side and there is some soreness right above the incision line as well as some soreness on the underside of my bicep when moved or touched......I am worried that this may be a start of an infection.

Hi,

Redness over the scar is suggestive of inflammation. There may be higher chance of infection as mentioned site is warmer. A complete clinical examination is needed with some blood work. Ointment containing antibiotic and antifungal will be of some help.
