Suggest Ways To Wean Off Percocet
Please help me. How do I safely taper off percecet 7.5/325 after taking 6-10 pills a day for the last 5 years . I have heard that stopping cold turkey could harm me and make me have horrible withdraw symptoms like shaking and feeling restless legs really bad I m scared but have to stop now!

hi....Gradually reducing your dose for few weeks or months is the best way to stop taking Percocet.
in general, a 2 to 3 week tapering regimen should follow as:
1.Avoid reducing the daily dose of Percocet by > 50% at any given interval
2.Reduce each daily dose of Percocet by 10%
3.Reduce the dose of Percocet by 20% every 3-5 days
4.Reduce the dose of Percocet by 25% per week
consult to your doctor for appropriate doses to taper Percocet without any withdrawal symptoms.
