Suggest Ways To Improve Bone Density In Women

my mother had it,iam 62 i have had 4 back surgerys, i have osterporosis, i had a bonedensity test done 2 years ago injune and i had onetoday 2 years later and i have lost 1/2 inch in height in a 2 year period, i have severe disc diease and other things in the back, that is very alarming to me

Preventive measure to follow

1. Increasing weight-bearing and muscle-strengthening exercises

2. Taking adequate calcium along with vitamin D.Good dietary sources of calcium include dairy products, nuts, sunflower seeds and ragi.
Good dietary sources of vitamin D include eggs, liver, butter, fatty fish.

3. Medically bisphosphonates are beneficial in treating osteoporosis

I suggest you to visit nearby endocrinologist or rheumatologist for proper evaluation and further management
