What Does The Following Mammogram Report Suggest?

Hello. I had a mammogram today followed by a bone density scan. I think I may have accidently worn the nipple cover used for the mammogram during the bone density scan. The bone density scan showed a white spot which appeared to be on my spine. Could that have been what happened?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Yes you are right .it was artifact .it is especially true if the shadow is exactly of same size as nipple cover ..you should have told the radiologist about this thing.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
