Suggest Ways To Abort Pregnancy

Hi doctor. My last menstrual cycle was 19/9/2014. After that me n my husband didn t had sex till 18/10/2014..on 23/10/2014 I got fever with severe back aches and general body pains...on my family physicians advice I got pregnancy test done n that gave a positive result...I still wonder how that Can be possible.. Also Me n my husband would like to get it aborted...what s the best way to go with... Thanks...

Hallow Dear,

Considering your menstrual history and the history of intercourse, it is indeed a surprising to know about your pregnancy. However, now your doctor has diagnosed pregnancy, you may get it confirmed by ultrasonography. If you are pregnant, you may get the pregnancy terminated safely and effectively by medicines (Tablets of Mifepristone and Misoprostol) up to 9 weeks of pregnancy. These medicines are not over the counter medicines and need Obstetrician's prescription. After consuming the medicines, it is advisable to have a follow up visit to the Obstetrician after 7 days. Also, after the abortion process is over, you may get the confirmation of completeness of abortion by undergoing ultrasonography.
