Hi,

In case of vitamin D deficiency, vitamin D supplements may be required. Increase dietary intake of food rich in vitamin D and calcium. Take a glass of milk everyday.

Caldikind, Shelcal or D shine are some of the vitamin D and calcium supplements that can be used. Dose may depend on whether it is taken prophylactically or for proven deficiency.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
