Do Calcium Supplements Aid In The Absorption Of Vitamin?

Blood tests indicate that my vitamin D level is lower than normal and a calcium supplement was recommended to take with the vitamin D supplements to raise it. Does calcium aid in the absorption of vitamin? I am aware that vitamin D helps in the absorption of calcium.

Hi!
Welcome to HCM!
Brief answer: No! Your last statement is correct.
Calcium does not aid in the absorption of vitamin D..
Calcium absorption from the intestines is dependent upon dietary vitamin D not the vice versa.
I hope you are convinced now!
