Suggest Treatments For Removal Of Stone In Spleen
Hi,my father s ultrasound has shown 12mm stone in spleen but he doesn t feel any pain.Doctors suggest operation.i wanna ask u what should we do because my father doesn t want operation.is any other treatment to release the stone?we are worried,please reply.

Ultrasound shows 12 mm of stone in your father spleen and he don't want any surgery but this is not a good thing
because SURGERY is only an option in a STONE ( if it is present in spleen but before surgery or diagnosis about stone in spleen I recommend you please get in M R I as well one more ultrasound report of spleen for confirmation of STONE as this is a rare condition ).
Still I recommend surgery because sometimes at the operation table we find exact type of tumor or cyst or stone in spleen .
But whatever diagnosis ( as stone or cyst or lump ) surgery is option.
