my 10 year old daughter has been complaining of pain itching burning and all that goes with uti's.... She was tested a while back and urine came up negative. Dr put her on antibiotics just incase. She felt better for about a week then started complaining again. I took her back to the dr and test came back negative again. So he said she may b constipated. Well shes not and still hurts.... What do we do now????
if urine analysis is negative she is unlikely to have infection. for symptoms told take a note that she is not sexually abused and ask her leading questions to rule out same. if no other reason found 'do not give antibiotics unnecessarily' . give her Tab Tolterodine 1mg once a day with some laxative if she gets constipation
