Suggest Treatments For Hypothyroid

hi! My name is Smita Kadam, age 34 years having hypothyroid from the year 1996. My hypothyroid keeps fluctuating..recently i am being abe to see less hair on the centre side of my head..and weight is also increasing. My Question is can i lose weight and can this hypothyriod get cured completely and my hair gets normal.?

Hi Smita,
You need to understand your disease. It needs to be monitored regularly by checking hormone levels, to ensure adequate treatment & to avoid under or over treatment. If you are putting on weight then your thyroid levels might be low. Besides this, brisk walk for 30mins a day for 5 days a week and do exercise. When your hormone becomes normal, then hairfall won't be a problem. If hairfall is excessive, consult a dermatologist as well. Thank you
