Suggest Treatment Required For The Following CT Scan Results

the CT scan shows these results , what is the treatment ?? There is high attenuation within the left frontal sinus, may suggest chronic sinus disease likely fungal in origin, in addition there is a heterogeneous expansile mass involving the left frontal sinus that extends to the anterior ethmoid air cells, with a mixed sclerotic lytic pattern, with poorly differentiation of the ponto/medullary region, without any evidence of bony destruction or cortical disruption, appearance is most likely consistent with fibrodysplasia. The remaining of the visualized paranasal sinuses demonstrate unremarkable right maxillary sinus, sphenoid sinus and posterior ethmoid air cells.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per my surgical experience, the CT report is suggestive of pathology involving ethmoid sinus and the frontal area which can be from various lesions as the previous infection, inflammation or secondary to tumors of some sort.

* Though symptoms details reveal many of the facts, which is not available here; I would quote to discuss the issue with treating neurologist and ask about the need of biopsy of the lesion through stereotactic approach, which is the best-recommended approach for tissue diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
