Suggest Treatment For Yeast Infection After Cryotherapy

I had cryotherapy performed on my cervix two weeks ago. I was prescribed Metronidazole vaginal gel to prevent infection. Now I seemed to have developed a yeast infection from the antibiotics. Is it safe to treat the yeast infection at this time and, if so, what treatment is recommended?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern if this is really yeast infection then this would response to Metronidazole but if it is fails to respond then you have to go for culture sensitivity to confirm the infection and to rule out the differential diagnosis in my opinion the clinical examination is must, take care and have a nice day.
