Hello,

White patches may be:

1. Pus from crypts.
2. Candida patches
3. Diptheria membrane.
4. Tonsilar stones.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. Use tablet amoxicillin and clavulinic acid 625 mg twice a day for five days.

If symptoms not improved please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
