Suggest Treatment For Weight Gain

Hi, i am a 65 year old woman, 64 inches tall, and have always weighed about 110 as an adult. Now I only wiegh 103, and I cannot gain anything. I eat 3 healthy meals a day, and also a morning and afternoon snack, like cheese or nuts. How can I gain 7 pounds when I cannot eat any more?

Hello and thank you for your question.
If you can not eat any more then the only way to gain weight is to change some of the food you are eating to a more calorie dense food. For example, if you are eating salad add olive oil and nuts to it. Also check with your doctor to make sure that your thyroid function is normal, an overactive thyroid can make it difficult to gain weight.
Regards,
Dr. Robinson
