I had my second c section 10 weeks back. I had a catheter for 15 days due to urinary bladder repair. my doctor detected vaginal infection after that and advised medicines it got cleared. but now i spotted reddish thread like things along with vaginal discharge. what it could be and how can i get rid of it? me and my husband came closer last week only
It may be collected semen came along with some discharge. If no itching, no burning micturation, and non foulsmelling discharge. than you don't have to do much for that. It is normal and leave it. Just drink water as far as possible to make urine clear.
Some other pecautions to be follow to decrease vaginal and urinary infections - Drink More Water - Keep the lower Part Dry as possible - Change underwears for moretime during menses and when it become wet - Change pads more frequently during menses - Wear Cotton underwear if possible - Wash vaginal area with clear water after intercourse and do urinate immediately
This will Help a lot and avoid recurrence.
