Endocrinologist 's  Response
Good day,
Noted. You may need to undergo an endocrinology evaluation to rule out the cause of unwanted hair growth. The cause need to be found out. In most cases, it could be poly cystic ovary disease or ovarian hyperthecosis and in that case, you would have excess hair growth from the age of menarche( first periods) itself. If you had a recent onset excess hair growth, other causes are possible which needs evaluation. Based on your cause of hormone abnormality, treatment can be suggested. Mostly, combined oral contraceptive hormone pills together with anti androgens ( male hormone blockers) would help. Please visit my blog on excess hair growth ( HIRSUTISM) XXXX
