Hello welcome to HCM.
I have read your question and understand your concerns.
Uncontrolled diabetes has many short and long term complications. So, it's control is necessary even if the patient has no symptoms.
My advice to you is -

1.Ask your doctor if he can add a tab for diabetes before lunch also because lunch is the time when we eat maximum and your post meal sugar is also very high.

2 . Even if after adding afternoon medicines if still blood sugar levels remains high than she can take night time longer acting insulin which will work for 24 hrs without causing low blood sugar levels.

3.Strict diet cocontrol and regular daily walking is necessary to control diabetes on Longterm.

4.Do FBS, PP2BS AND HBA1c report every 3 monthly for adequate sugar control.
Thank you.
Have a nice day.
