Suggest Treatment For Tuberculous Cervical Lymphadenitis?

Hello, I ask this on behalf of my sister in law. She has been diagnosed with TB of the Lymph and has been on Isoniazid for the last 6 months (rifampicin stopped after three months). Due to poor eating habbits she has developed some gastric complications and loads of gas in the tummy. Weak as she is today her doctor suggest she stop taking Isoniazid for a few days till situation improved. The doctor is a general physician. Is this advice sound for as far as I know from reading up on the net and from my experience (during my being treated for intestinal TB several years ago) I remember being told NOT to stop Isoniazid. Please advice.
