Suggest Treatment For Thyroid Problems
our grandson had neuroblastoma when he was 11 mos old.. from there he contracted leukemia when he was just over 2 1/2 yrs old and had a bone marrow transplant. Everything seemed ok til now.. Now the drs say he has thryroid problems and he is only 4 1/2 yrs old. what can u tell us?

dear parent, the treatment depends on the nature of thyroid problem. if he suffers from hypothyroidism, then he will need a thyroid hormonal replacement therapy. if he suffers from hyperthyroidism then he will need a medication as propylthiouracil. ifvhe suffers from thyroid tumor, he may need removal of thyroid gland
