Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hello,
I do appreciate your concern regarding to your mother health.
As you mentioned the last thyroid hormonal level has resulted to be normal.
The FNA also didn't result to be malignant.
So in these cases no treatment is suggested.
If she will have local symptoms that siggest compression of the near structures by the nodules ( such as cough, difficulty in swallowing ect) than surgical removal of the thyroid gland is recommended.
As long as the thyroid hormones are within the normal ranges, no treatment is needed.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
