Suggest Treatment For Thick Uterus Lining

I just had blood work done for a D&C tomorrow and the doctors office just called and told me that mycreitine and glucose levels are off. I have just finished treatment for Stage 3 breast cancer (ILC). They are doing the D&C because of the thickening of the uterius. What is the possible diagnosis and treatment?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The thick uterus lining can be from the hormone imbalance affecting the uterine mucosa through estrogen-progesterone receptors or else there can be hormone-mediated secondary changes.

A detailed report of uterine biopsy is mandatory to comment further as there is treatment going on for breast cancer which can directly or indirectly affect the uterus health.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
