Suggest Treatment For Tenderness And Redness In Armpit

Hi Dr I did an at home waxing on my armpits and I put the oil it came with after. They got red right after which I knew was normal. But as the days went on the redness got worse and they felt very tender. It s been over a week and they have gotten even more red and more tender. I tried applying aloe Vera but nothing yet. Can you suggest anything??

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of tenderness and redness in armpit. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like allergy reaction, extreme hot wax and due to poor hygiene. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination without any delay , because discharge of fluid is not a good sign. Doctor may order complete blood profile biopsy and examine physically about tenderness. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics at least for a week along with anti inflammatory and may recommend radiation therapy. You should maintain complete hygiene. Avoid touching or pricking rashes.
