Suggest Treatment For Talipes Equinus Valgus Of Leg

I was born with talipes equinus valgus of my right leg. I had extensive surgery whenI was 7 which only partially corrected the deformity. I am still unable to put my heel down and I walk on the inner aspect of my foot. I am 53 years old. Is there anything that I can or should do at this point in my life? My husband says that I should have a shoe inset made to help with my balance and weight bearing. He thinks that that would help alleviate my lower back pain.
