General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Acid reflux cause pain in the chest and back. So I think it is due to GERD.
I would suggests to consult the gastroenterologist and undergo urea breath test, barium meal Xray and esophageal Ph monitoring to confirm the acid reflux.
Doctor will give following advises:
Tablet esmoprazole 30 minutes before meal
Syrup mucaine, take adequate dietary fiber and supplements like senna
Tablet metoclopramide at the bed time
Take small frequent meal rather than large meal
Take diet like rice, banana, applesauce, yogurt, buttermilk and curd
Avoid smoking and alcohol, beverages
Do not go to bed just after food.
Avoid stress and do regular exercise like walking and yoga
Hope this may help you
