Can Eliquis Cause Acid Reflux?
I started taking Eliquis January 2015. I started having acid reflux symptoms around November 2015. A January 2016 endoscopy showed I had Gerd. My question is is it possible the Eliquis was giving me acid reflux? I was 77 when the Gerd started and had never had heartburn or acid reflux symptoms prior to November 2015. Thanks!

Eliquis causes dyspepsia and gastritis. But there are also few reported cases of GERD soon after or few months into taking Eliquis
Since your symptoms started few months after taking the medication, it can be related to Eliquis intake. But if you are taking other medications along with Eliquis , your deatailed medication history need to be assessed to look for possibility of any other medication causing GERD.
