General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to the injury.

I recommend using cold compress or ice pack application for 20 to 30 minutes for the 48 hours following injury to reduce swelling.

I also suggest pain medication such as acetaminophen (Tylenol)

I recommend to rest.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,

Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
