Suggest Treatment For Swollen Lymph Nodes In Neck And Sore Throat

Hi about 1 month ago I went to the doctors offixe with strep throat like symptoms spar throat and swollen lymph nodes. I keep having 1 little white dot on one of the tonsils rhat comes and goes away when I gargle with salt water. And the doctor gave me pennacillan but because I already took some of my sisters amoxicillin the throat culture came up negative for strep. Then took the pennacillian that the doctor gave me for.14 days. It seemed to help a little but not much with thr swelling in the neck. Now I have a few little cuts on my tonsils and worried about what it might be

I have gone through your query. You should also get a sputum AFB test to rule out tuberculosis. You should not take excessive hot or cold which may irritate and worsen the condition. Warm chicken soup and tea with lemon will be soothing. You can also take vitamin C. Hope this may help you.
