Suggest Treatment For Swollen Legs After Hip Replacement Surgery

Both legs badly swollen, non operated (hip replacement) leg developed two sores that are now under control with anti-bio's. 5 weeks since the op.

I had problems sleeping on my back, so 1st 2/3 weeks slept sitting in chairs -- 2 - 3 hrs a night. Now sleeping on my non-operated side since then and getting sleep, but legs still swollen -though there might be signs of the operated leg going down a little. Will water tablets work?
