Suggest Treatment For Swollen Cervical Lymph Node

My father had a swollen cervical lymph node(right) and he had a FNAC done. It was advised in the report to go for an excision biopsy. Now , where should I go for this test whether Tata Memorial or CMC Vellore or some place in Kolkata. Please advice, with regards, Sumil Mukherjee Howrah, Kolkata.

Hello,

It is a minor surgery you may undergo near by general surgeon with pathology attached hospital. Cervical lymph node enlargement may be due to oral or respiratory tract infections or due to tuberculosis or malignancy etc. Get it done and review with reports.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
