I have an occasional sting in right eye caruncle. A little pinkish and mildly swollen. A red veiny looking lightning bolt is shooting out from the caruncle toward iris-on a scale, it's a 2 in comparison to the left eye which is fine, but the stinging every 5 minutes or so has been going on all day, intermittently.
I reviewed your history. These symptoms indicate inflammatory condition of the eye like conjunctivitis or carunculitis. This requires treatment by the use of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs.
Hope this is helpful to you. Please do write back to me for further questions.
