Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Pinkish Eyes

I have an occasional sting in right eye caruncle. A little pinkish and mildly swollen. A red veiny looking lightning bolt is shooting out from the caruncle toward iris-on a scale, it's a 2 in comparison to the left eye which is fine, but the stinging every 5 minutes or so has been going on all day, intermittently.
