Suggest Treatment For Swelling On Knees

was playing basketball and went to jump and try to save a going to be out of bounds ball but when i landed my right knee was locked and i think i "jammed" it... if thats a term. but now there is a bruise about the size of a quarter at the top right of my knee if your looking at it as facing me, minimal swelling, but there is an almost tight feeling. should i see a doctor?

I really appreciate your concern looking to the history given here as I keep saying that knee joint is very fragile joint and highly vulnerable to injury your history is suggestive of possibility of some internal injury and that need to be ruled out and for that the best option is get done the MRI of knee joint hope this information helps you, take care and have a nice day.
