Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Pain In Feet

My husband has several things going on. First one of his feet will swell up and hurt real bad. This can last 2-14 days.he gets a head ache with real bad chills and he shakes. But no fever that can last 2-14 days. He will have about 7-14 days free of pain and it comes back. We taught he had gait but the test came back neg.
