my 16-year-old daughter was at the doctors today she was diagnosed with strep throat my other seven-year-old child has a slight fever runny nose and sores around her nose and mouth is it likely that she also has strep throat and if so should I take her to the doctors tonight or wait until after school tomorrow

Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. It is better to take her to your doctor now as in younger kids this will be severe and should be treated early. Early antibiotic therapy is better in such case also. Give her warm fluids like warm chicken soup with pepper, lemon tea etc. Vitamin C chewable tablets also will be helpful. Hope this may help you.
