I am 36 years old and last week i was told that i have strep throat and shingles within 3 days of each other. I did have a small rash on my neck that scabbed over in 3 days, and I also have been having horrible bouts of tingles that i suppose would make a doctor think I have shingles. But right now I have been experiencing the worse pain of neuropathy in my fingers and hands that has been going on for a least month. I have also been experiencing this in my toes and feet also, but it is the worse in my left hand. It wakes me up at night, the pain is so excruciating. I have had glucose and insulin resistance tests done, and I do not have diabetes. I did have Rheumatoid Factors test run, and they were normal, except that my autoimmune antibodies came back positive, and I had a SSA of 5.4..not sure what that means. I am scheduled to see a Rheumatoid specialist this week to see whats going on. I just know I keep having bouts of tingles, and numbness throughout my body and my hands are just giving me so much pain. I have headaches, insomnia, and I just cant take much more. Do you have any idea what could be going on?
