Suggest Treatment For Stomach Pain And Cramping

My 3 yr old son has upper stomach pain and cramping, no fever. His stools are soft and full of white jelly like strings. We had the Dr out last night and she says it's a flu. He woke up this morning, got up, got all sweaty, limp and pale. I was in the other room so I can not be sure if he fainted. He has thirst and wants to drink but not eat. I put him into bed after having him drink electrolytes. he is resting easy now. Should I take him to the er if he has another episode of fainting and sweats.

Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.

Since there is softness and white jelly like strings and now associated problem that he becamesweaty, limp and pale, this is highly suggestive of an intestinal infection.
This is the reason he is not eating.
Dehydration increases the thirst automatically.

I would advise to take him to the hospital , get admitted start on intravenous fluids and antibiotic, probiotic and symptomatic treatment.
Investigations of blood, urine and stool will be done and he gets appropriate treatment.
