How Can Paracetomol Overdose Affect An Individual S Health?

Hi, Doctor my freind has Intentionally taken 10pills of P750( a paracetomol tablet) Two days ago but since he was absuletly safe & he repeated same again yesterday(last tablet 24hours from now). How ever there are no immediate symptoms of over dose is there any possiblity of symptoms to occur later?? He is feeling very sleepy & ocassional stomach pain. What would be level of damages?

Hi,

Yes, he should be taken to the hospital emergency and his vitals should get measured and he should get his liver function tests and arterial blood gases done. There might be a need for IV N-acetylcysteine.
