Suggest Treatment For Stomach Gas And Pain In A Toddler

I have a 2 and a half month old son. I am not able to breast feed as I have the problem of inverted nipples & had been operated for abcess during my first preganancy with my elder son. My 2nd child is also on lactogen but has problem relating to gases & griping pain to which doctor has recommended colicaid. Will this problem continue & I will have to depend on medicines or is there any home remedy. Another thing is the umblical hernia which the doctors say will subside as he willl start rolling on his stomach, but some family members say it will stay as such forever is it true!

hi.sorry to hear about your problem.but many kids breastfed or not have the colicky problem till they are 4 months old
.if he gets relieved with colicaid you can use it.try to use dexolac formula as it cause less of this problem.
u can use simple measures like putting child prone on ur lap when he starts crying.this will relieve him of gas.
regarding hernia,it depends on size of hernia.better se a pediatric surgeon for a better opinion.good day.take care
