Suggest Treatment For Soreness In The Left Eye

I woke up and under my left eye was sore. A little bit later it puffed up and was sore to rub it. Then it had little slits then three to four days scabbed. I put some ointment on and the next day the scab softened and when I did a warm compress it took all the scab off now it is raw and red looks horrible

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You would need it to heal on its own . Applying a topical over the counter antibiotic would speed up the healing process and reduce the risk of infection.

An ant inflammatory pain killer would help to reduce the body's inflammatory response and may also help even if no pain is present eg naproxen, ibuprofen or cataflam

It would be best , if the scab reforms to let it come off when it is ready. It would come off when the surface is healing.

I hope this helps
