Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat, post Nasal Drip And Ear Ache

i have developed a headache every day for a week now,it is accompanied with earache, facial pain, jaw ache,a bit of a sore throat, post nasal drip and i feel really tired. I am 43 and a female and been told by my gp that could be menopausal?? The pain in my ears and head is becoming worrying, i also have neck pain but only sometimes and it feels like a rubber band snaps in my neck?? I had a crown fitted 2 weeks ago and went back to dentist but he gave me amoxicillin( in case of infection) and they did not change anything. Still experiencing all symptoms.HELP!

dear user

about your question i would like to tell you that these symptoms you mentioned refer mainly to have throat infection bacterial or viral of throat that lead to consequences of postnasal drip and ear ache........your feeling of these symptoms should not make you worry as it is common symptom of common cold or bacterial infection of your throat .....about treatment of that you should first refer to ent doctor to examine your throat and ear and sinuses........ you can take tylenol as it will help alot to improve .......you should also drink alot of warm fluids that will make you better ......you should also have bed rest and no effort that cause you be tired .....you can gargle your throat with saline as simply it helps to decontaminate your throat. ......you can use chlorohexidine or betadine mouth gargle as it is considered antiseptic for throat.....some times we require blood test or throat swab for investigation if symptoms get worse but now you not need that.......if bacterial infection suggested you can take amoxicillin or erythromycin as it is antibiotic has great role in treatment of throat infection..........wish you healthy life
