Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat

I had an abscess tooth 2.5 weeks ago and had a root canal done. I got very sick-sore throat, ear infection. Since then I have been on 2 different antibiotics and Tylenol and although my fever and sore throat are improving, my esophagus is very tender and it hurts badly to eat or drink. Last night I even had a black stool. Just a little concerned and tired of being ill.... I am sorry I cannot pay so I will have to find another solution

Hi

Welcome in H.C.M.

I understand your concer about sore throat, fever , ear problem and allthese developments are after root canal treatment. Your clinical story favours that infection of tooth may have given rise to sore throat which in turn had involved the eustachian tube opening and thus popping in ear developed.

To confirm the diagnosis and proper management you should do-

1- C/S of throat swab.

2- Blood- CBC, ESR, blood sugar ( fsating & post parendial).

Inferences of above investigations will tell us about diagnosis and that may be accordingly manage.

Thanks for consulting H.C.M.
