Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat

I'm on a vacation in Bali and I have gotten a really swore throat when I swallow I coughed up yellow, bloody flegm. Also I have really bad headaches when I move like stand up it feels like my brain is moving around in my head, also I have a loss of appetitie. The other day I was feeling better and decided to go to the shops only to get really dizzy and could not see much because everything was pixels and blurred. I'm only 14, I am around 171cm and weigh about 48kg

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have sore throat with severe headaches and dizziness well these symptoms are due to sinusitis and upper respiratory tract infection. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles 2-3 times a day. You should take steam inhalation twice a day. Take paracetamol for fever and headache. Consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics amoxiclav at least for 10 days along with decongestant. Maintain proper hygiene. Drink plenty of water and liquids. Take tepid sponging if it is severe headache.Doctor may order test like swab test , blood test , and viral culture test to rule out condition like acid reflux and strep throat. Maintain proper hygiene and drink plenty of fluids.
