I am 56 years old. For as long as I can remember I have almost always has a sore or tickle in my throat. As a very young child I sucked my thumb. As year went by I noticed my nose was slightly bent to one side. Doctors thoughts it could be due to the fact I sucked my thumb from such a young age and put pressure on my nose which caused it to grow on a very slight angle. The problem i have always had seems to be connected with my sinuses. I have a had a tickle (not sore but just irritating) in my throat for some time now. My doctor has checked my ears, nose and throat. The only thing she found was one side of my nasal passage was very blocked. She has put me on a nasal spray to see if this clears the nose and in turn helps the throat. My question to you is - Do you think my nasal problems could be linked to my continous sore/ irritating throats. I would appreciate another opinion. Thank you - Jo
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, in fact this could be some allergic condition and this may go happening on and often some this may not need any treatment, if the symptoms are more intense then this can be managed with "Tab levocetirizine 10 mg just once in day, in my opinion no need to be over conscious for this else the symptoms would be more troublesome, hope this information helps, take care.
