Suggest Treatment For Skin Rashes All Over The Body

Hi. My husband went to the doctor yesterday after developing an angry looking rash all over (except his hands, face, and groin areas). They scraped his skin thinking it could be scabies, but there was nothing on the slide other than normal skin cells. It s very itchy and red. They still prescribed him Permethrin cream 5%. As the day went on, more and more bumps started to pop up. He has had chicken pox and they re not measles. We can t seem to figure out what it may be.

Hi the lesions and symptoms description go for either acute urticaria or chickenpox. As far as scabies is concerned it defnitely effects groin region.By the statement more and more bump s appear rules out urticaria as it is only transient.
I treat such kind of rashes by giving an antihistamine like Atarax. A antibiotic and calamine lotion for application all over the body
