Suggest Treatment For Skin Discoloration And Dryness
I have had this problem for over a year now and it varies in degrees of severity. The skin also sometimes looks like it has a shiny film over it. My skin does get very dry at times and this has lead me to wonder if the discolouration is due to a build up of dead dry skin cells.

You have not mentioned the particular area of skin of you body, drink more water, this could be allergic condition and not the pigmentation disorder in my opinion try some antihistamine on tentative basis and best option would be "Diphenhydramine" have this three time in day, if symptoms does not improved then this may need clinical examination, take care.
