Hi,

Dostinex contains cabergoline which is used to treat high levels of prolactin hormone in the body. High levels of prolactin in women can cause symptoms such as unwanted breast milk, missed periods and can cause difficulty becoming pregnant. High levels of prolactin in men can cause symptoms like enlarged breasts and decreased sexual desire.

Side effects of Dostinex are nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, tiredness, weakness, constipation, headache, dizziness, drowsiness, difficulty in learning, loss of concentration, chest pain, dry cough, back pain, scanty or no micturition, shortness of breath, allergic reactions etc. Don't start, stop or change the dosage of Dostinex without your doctor's approval. Some medications that may interact with this drug include antipsychotic medications like SSRI.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
